| Home description |
The house is detached and in its own grounds. Its in a typically quiet French village and offers very confortable accomodation.The house is open plan downstairs with a lounge that is equipped with a wood burning chimney and large comfy sofas.There are double windows to the front and back and both lead on to terraces. The kitchen is a well equipped,clean and tidy area and has a large door that opens up on to the back terrace and BBQ area. It also has access to the garage and a downstairs loo!
The dining area is between the kitchen and the lounge and has a large wooden dining table with enough dining chairs for 6. There is a buffet that make access to wine glasses and plates etc very easy.
Upstairs there are 2 large double rooms both with great views over the open countryside. To the back of the house there is a large family size bathroom with with a separate bath and shower. There is also a bunkbed room next to the bathroom with 2m long bunks.
This is an idael place to relax in quiet surrounding yet be within a very easy journey of all the local amenities and attractions.

This region of the Brittany/Normandy border has a fantastic ammount to do and see. We have some of the prettiest medieval towns to visit, such as Combourg, Dinan and Dol-de-Bretagne. we also have some of the best beaches and coves on the coast. The gorgeous , victorian beach town of Dinard is a perfect day out; It boasts beautiful walks,soft golden sands and an array of eating places along the sea front.St malo is one of the most famous and popular seaside ports in France and boasts a very busy marina just outside its old walls. Cancale is just down the coast and is the home of oysters and mussels. Try an enormous plate of seafood or just a few fresh oysters with a little lemon juice on the key side.
We have to mention frances second most popular tourist attraction Le Mont St Michel. Only 15 minutes away this is one of the most fantastic attractions of the area and brings tourists from all over the world.

The village of Sains is a typical, quiet French village. It has no shops but does have a couple of mobile grocery shops which sell bread and essentials.
The village is only 2kms from the town of Pleine Fougeres which has all the amenities a town would need, including doctors/dentists/grocery shop:2 bakeries and a bar and much more.only a few kms further on you will a large supermarket and petrol station.
Sains is a lovely place to walk and cycle around and has a fishing lake just outside and another anly a couple of kms away. Sains is quiet but is fantastically situated for visitibg all the local attractions.

The driveway is plenty big enough for more than 2 cars to park and is a rather nice entrance to the house. the large garden to the rear is big enough for badminton or football; |

Bedlinen is included in the price and includes sheets,pillowcases,duvet cover and mattress cover. Towels are available to hire at £3.50/5 euros per set which includes a hand,bath towel and a flannel.
40 units of electric are included in the price and after that we charge 0.20 cents per extra unit.Gas for the oven and the hob is included in the price along with the tourist tax of 0.60per person over the age of 13 , per night.
Wood logs are available for the wood burning chimney at £10.00/15 euros per wheelbarrow.
Cots, highchairs,potties and babybaths are all available on request and free of charge.
*NOTE* an exchange of £1.00 to 1.5 euros will be applied.
