After you have walked across the well attended lawns at the front of the house, you are immediately welcomed by a large hallway with gallery landing.
The main living room is very spacious and comes with an oversized flat screen television complete with cinema surround sound . UK satalite tv is provided complete with premium sports and film channels.
Your are able to access the split level barn conversion from the living room, this has a fully fitted kitchen area , full size pool table and upstaris a bed room and a fantastc lounge with feature window a perfect retreat to watch the sun set over the pyrenees.
Down stairs in the main house you have a well appointed kitchen and dining room with access to utility room and double garage. Also off the main hallway there is a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom and access to the sauna room.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms in the main house both with en suite bathrooms, one of which has its own dressing room and the other has a cot. There are an additional two double bedrooms with two single beds in each of them. There is also another single bedroom with a single bed. Also located on this floor is a family bathroom with bath and shower.
The region has a rich Catholic history much in evidence everywhere. Its architecture is impressive, with many grand properties . Lourdes is also just a 30 minutes drive away.
The Old Oak farm house is ideally located in the foot hills of the Pyrenees 8 kilometers on the outskirts of the small village of Boulin 8km from Tarbes and 30km from the historic city of Lourdes.
CLIMATE
The weather is generally sunny and Mediterranean from May to August (average 28C) peaking in July in the mid 30's. April, September and October are pleasant (average 22C) and the light is beautiful for sightseeing. It can be cold in the winter, but also very warm!
